1   Organization
1.1   Q: Hey! Why don't you have a category about my favorite anime?
A: Have you looked in Arts: Animation: Anime: Titles? If your favorite anime has no category, you can submit your site to the appropriate letter in the Titles/ category. Make sure to make the title of the anime clear in your submission. An editor will later review your site and create a category for that anime title.

1.2   Q: What is this "seiyuu" category all about?
A: Seiyuu are Japanese voice actors and actresses. (The people who provide the voices for the characters.)

1.3   Q: Where the heck are all the Pokémon sites?
A: Try clicking here ==> Pokémon/.
All anime series are found under Arts: Animation: Anime: Titles.

1.4   Q: Why don't you list any sites in the main Anime category?
A: Solely for organizational purposes. Please try to find the category that would best suit your site.

1.5   Q: What's with all those letters under Fandom?
A: These categories are intended for sites that cover multiple anime series and exist primarily as a medium for anime-related expression. If your site deals with a few different anime, submit it to the letter category that corresponds with your site's title.

2   Submitting Sites
2.1   Q: My Sailor Moon page is really important! It should go in Arts: Animation: Anime and Arts: Animation: Anime: Titles: S: Sailor Moon
A: Sorry. It goes in Arts: Animation: Anime: Titles: S: Sailor Moon. No sites are listed in the main anime category. When a site is submitted to the wrong category, it greatly increases the amount of time it takes for the site to be listed.

2.2   Q: No, I mean my Sailor Moon page is REALLY IMPORTANT and could mean the difference between life and death! Failure to list my page in the main anime category could result in unspeakable tragedy!
A: Sorry, it still goes in Arts: Animation: Anime: Titles: S: Sailor Moon

2.3   Q: Does the same thing go for Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z sites?
A: Yes, the same thing goes for Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z. Thank you for understanding.

2.4   Q: This page is under construction and will be available Really Soon Now, but since it will be the best thing to happen to Anime since the Japanese language, you should list it now!
A: We're sorry, but we cannot take your word on what will be at your site in the future. We can only go on what is already there. Please wait to submit your website until it is complete.

2.5   Q: I submitted my site (In vArIeD CaPitALiZaTioN) with a ten line description about how unbelievably cool it is and a bunch of exclamation points at the end!!!!!!! Why didn't you list it that way??
A: We edited the listing so it would be informative to someone looking for anime sites. Our job as editors is to create the best resource we can for our users to find information.

Also, when you write the description, please don't claim to have anything on your site that you don't have online yet. We review each site thoroughly before we accept it, and when inaccurate descriptions are submitted we must write new ones.

2.6   Q: You didn't list my site at all. What's up with that?
A: The changes we make can take a long time to show up on sites that use our data. It may be that we have already added your site but the search engine to which you submitted hasn't updated since then.

Under some circumstances we will refuse to list a site. If after viewing your site the editor had to restart his or her computer to get it to function correctly again, the editor is likely to delete the submission.
Other possible reasons why we might reject your site are:
-There isn't anything there.
-There is barely anything there.
-The site is pornographic or contains pornographic banners.
-The site tricks visitors into voting for it.
-The site opens a pop-up when you exit, disables your back button, or uses any other slimy tactic to keep visitors there longer.
-Your site didn't crash everything, but it was enough of a complete nightmare to view (or attempt to view) that the editor has been scarred for life.
-You submitted fifty different URLs, all leading to the same page.
-You submitted the same URL fifty times.
-The URL you submitted contains an affiliate tag.

2.7   Q: I really like the sound of this ODP thing. In fact, it seems like something I'd be interested in. How can I become an editor?
A: Great! We're always looking for more quality people to join Team Anime. In order to become an editor, find a small sized category that interests you. Click on the "become an editor" link at the top of the page, and fill out the form there. For more information, read FAQs About the ODP: Becoming an Editor.
