Please submit only sites dealing with the history of magic and conjuring as a performing art.

Sites dealing with the occult should be listed in Society: Religion and Spirituality: under the appropriate sub-category.

Performers who are magicians may also do performances in other areas, such as comedy, clowning, hypnosis, juggling. If magic is not the major part of the performance, see the other related categories and submit the site to the single most appropriate one.

Sites must be placed into countries/states/provinces, unless the performances are clearly more global in scope. (An example would be a performer who mostly provides entertainment on cruise ships.) Failure to submit to the correct regional subcategory will result in delays in your site being listed. Note that a site only gets placed in one category, the one considered to be the best match for location.

To ensure correct placement, the website should clearly state the location of the performer - failure to do so may prevent the site being listed at all.

Performers who provide performances across the world, or across the U.S. or Canada will only be listed there if the list of shows and performances and clients supports this.

Sites consisting only of contact information e.g. a business card will not be listed

Title The site title will generally be the performers name --- Last, First, otherwise it will be based on the most obvious title from the web site.

Description Don't waste time with fancy marketing descriptions - such as "Award Winning", "The best in the area", "amazing". It will just be removed. Just state what is done as part of the performances, and/or what types of audience.

Do not submit descriptions full of capital letters - it's a waste of your time and the editors'time: Corporate Magician, Randy, is a Professional Close-Up Magician specializing in Corporate Events. has no chance of being accepted as a description - the editor will scrap the supplied text and start from scratch.

Whatever is included in the description must be supported by the content on the web site, or it may be changed.

Only submit sites to this category that are in English, or have at least part of the site in English.

Sites not in English must be submitted to the correct World category by language [DO NOT submit to Regional by Country]. To find the correct category look at the bottom of this category under This category in other languages:, if you do not find your language then go up a level by level (e.g. Arts/Performing_Arts/Magic/) until you find your language. e,g, French - click on that word and you will get to the category i.e. World/Francais/Arts/Arts_du_spectacle/Magie/

Sites in multiple languages should be submitted to each language. So a site in English/French/German can be submitted here, and also to the appropriate areas in World/Francais/ and World/Deutsch/.

Agents and Agencies must be submitted to that sub-category.
