Bloodhound

Before you submit or ask for an updated description, ask the question:
IS MY SITE READY?
Although you may choose words from other descriptions in the category, if your site doesn't include these features, then you should not include them UNTIL it does.
The directory contains old links, and just because you think your site is better than the worst, doesn't mean it's ready.
Try to make your description unique to your particular bloodhounds or breeding achievements.
Your site will be reviewed trying to keep your wording provided your site justifies it; in context with and fairness to others in the category

This category only contains links specific to this breed.
Separate descriptions are provided for the mandatory subcategories:
| Breeders | Clubs | Rescue |
Some breeds within the ODP also have a Pets subcategory, for those owners who have websites, but have no intention of breeding. At this stage, such owners are assumed to be found within the ‘web ring’ link(s), until their sites have been submitted individually.
Once submitted and accepted, unless these contribute significantly to general information not already in the main Bloodhound category, they will first appear in the Breeders subcategory as explained the description.
Definition:
As with other breeds in the ODP, the name of the breed is defined by the American Kennel Club (AKC) standard.
In French speaking countries, the breed is also known as Le Chien de St. Hubert.
The term American Bloodhound is synonymous with the same breed, its one distinction being the red colour, imported from Canada, replacing the original red in pre-World War II Britain.
Clean Boot Packs (including non-Kennel Club Bloodhounds) may also be submitted to this category, but at present their numbers do not justify a separate category
These are currently held with other forms of Venery in the Hunt_Clubs category.
