Top: Science: Anomalies_and_Alternative_Science: Creationism

This category is dedicated to discussion of creationism as a position in science or theist philosophy.

Sites concerned with religious aspects of creationism, or solely with the criticism of Darwinian thought, should not be submitted here.

In particular, this category is not for the debate about teaching creationism or creation "science" in US high schools, nor about evidence in the Bible for or against creationism.

Creationism, as defined in Webster's New Universal Dictionary, is the doctrine that matter and all things were created, substantially as they now exist, by an omnipotent creator, and not gradually evolved or developed. As such it is not only a religious view and an (unorthodox) scientific doctrine, but a philosophical position about the origin of the world and life.
