I run a Telephone Equipment Supply House. We sell Business Telephones and Systems through our web site at Sundance Telephones. We buy and sell a lot of Phone Systems manufactured by Comdial, Telrad, Inter-tel, Mitel, Vodavi and others from businesses that either upgrade to a new Telephone System or have gone out of business. We then Refurbish the equipment and sell them on the Internet through our store. I started in the phone business in 1970 working for Centel (Central Telephone, a dial tone provider) in Las Vegas for about 9 to 10 years, then got fired for drinking a beer at a company lunch-in for winning the Men's softball league that year, which was during my 2 week notice of resignation. Think they were making a point? I do... So I moved north into Utah and worked with an Interconnect for a couple of years, figured out I was doing all of the installing and servicing so I started my own Interconnect doing sales and service in the Salt Lake City and surrounding areas from 1983 till about 1995. When the internet came around I did a search for these phones I dealt with and noticed no one was selling Telephone equipment on the internet...so the light went off, and the Sundance Communications web site was born, that was somewhere around 1995 or 96. I've added additional content to the original web site with additional Phone System Resources and added additional Telephone Industry links by adding a Phone System Tech Talk Bulletin Board for Telephone Installers to get questions asked and answered, I also added a data base ( got that idea from you know where "DMOZ") of Telephone Installers for the users who were buying our products and needed someone to install or program their Phone equipment and for the customers who need to sell their phone systems we created a site for that called Business Telephone Auction. In 2001 I moved back to Nevada to a little community called Overton which is on the north end of Lake Mead. I've been an Editor at the ODP since 1999 and still learn something new everyday....well most every day. The sites above are owned and maintained by me...excluding the Desertusa and dmoz links
